Through mindful movement, you’ll build confidence in the sequence of movements in Part II. We will focus on -

  1. Acceptance & letting go of things we can’t control

  2. Letting go of ‘mindless’ drive for the next dopamine hit

  3. Bringing a light attention to our movements, building awareness in our body, awareness of weight and awareness of the body’s alignment

  4. Mindfulness – bringing our minds into the present (not zoning out)

  5. Fully occupying our body

  6. Lowering and building intent (getting out of the mind and its chatter)

  7. Relax – into the movements, using flow, not force

  8. Paying attention to opposites – expansive movements/ contracting

  9. Building energy and the flow of energy

  10. Practising & the experience of T'ai Chi

Our approach includes practising the sequence of movements, and we will also study the broader, more foundational aspects of T’ai Chi.

You’ll leave having built muscle memory! And you will learn how to increase the feedback from your body into your movements.
